I took these photos during my time as a Photography volunteer in South Africa and Zimbabwe. An experience of growth, challenges, and valuable experiences. I learned that a moment is just a moment that goes by without you even noticing. If you don´t capture the photo at the exact right moment, your opportunity will have passed.
The Golden Sky photo shows the moment of the sun setting right behind this small hill with a big shady tree. The challenge here was to capture the sun from the correct standpoint so it could be hidden right behind the tree, creating a silhouete with a Golden Sky background. The sun was going down faster and faster by the second, I truly didn't have much time to shift positions or try different angles. It is at this type of moment when you have to make a quick and assertive decision.
